The Act Salt scrubs

Cosmetics brand The Act creates thoughtful natural cosmetics for relaxation and body care. The brand successfully sells on Russian marketplaces, and goes further to international sales through Amazon.

Cosmetics are composition and packaging. In a shop window or online store, the gaze first lingers on an interesting visual like photographs and pleasant or funny packaging. And only after that we read the description and composition. The packaging must appeal the right people for attracting them. What if you need to like everyone?

The task for Kavychki was to develop a package of salt scrubs. The line is sold all over the world so the design should be understandable and attractive to a person with any cultural code. To distinguish the product from peers and maintain the overall brand style.

Brand The Act uses eco-friendly plastic doy-pack packaging for the scrubs. This is a ready-made medium for which you need to adapt the brand's visuals without losing a single style. Different countries have different standards for the presentation of technical information about the product as well. This is about keeping the brand's style within a rigid framework.

The salt scrub works as bath salt at the same time which is why we used a wave motif and a texture reminiscent of salt dissolving in hot water in the packaging.

And we added a color that refers to the ingredients of each product. Purple lavender, gray cumin, pink Himalayan salt.

The design was complemented with typographic brand constants for an elegant sense of unity and minimalism.



As a result the scrub packaging effectively works as a full-fledged participant in The Act brand advertising campaign.

The brand promotes its products with bloggers and influencers. A product that is not only of high quality in itself, but also looks relevant. It is readily taken for reviews by both beauty bloggers and celebrities.

Packaging becomes an additional argument in favor of the purchase For buyers – it is pleasant to keep it in the bathroom, it is suitable for a gift.
